A solo show by Jeremy Pinson

ABOUT

How often do you *really* get to give advice to your teenage self?

When a classmate finds a folder on Jeremy’s laptop labeled ‘Hot’, his fantasies come to life to help him navigate the fraught social politics of high school.

The Hot Folder explores the dualities contained in a childhood bedroom – as an incubator of self-discovery vis a vis a dungeon of shame – and what you might tell your teen self when you inevitably must leave that space.

CREDITS

Jeremy Pinson is a queer, Brooklyn-based actor, writer, and solo artist originally hailing from St. Louis, Missouri. As an avid character and sketch performer, Jeremy’s solo show, The Hot Folder, has sold out multiple 100-seat shows at Caveat and was an official selection of New York Comedy Festival 2024. THF will be going to STL Fringe and doing an LA run later this year! Jeremy co-hosts a monthly pilot reading show, Table Ready!, with fellow comedian Katherine Gorham, which was recently picked up by producer John Domingos with Sunday Funnies Management. When not performing, Jeremy can be found biking around Brooklyn, volunteering at a community garden, or watching Survivor with the homies.
