La MaMa Kids Online: Fritzi’s Flea Circus

Join the mighty Fritzi, a tiny flea with a big personality, as he dazzles audiences with his talents as strongman, tightrope walker, and even get’s fired from a cannon. Imaginative puppetry and entertainment originally created by Sandglass’ Co-Founder, Ines Zeller Bass, now performed by her daughter, Shoshana Bass.

About the Artists

Sandglass Theater is a renowned theater company specializing in combining puppets with music, actors, and visual imagery. Since 1982, the company’s productions have toured internationally in nearly 30 countries, performing in theaters, festivals and cultural institutions and winning numerous international prizes.
Sandglass Theater produces works for both adult audiences and young audiences—two repertoires that tour separately and together. Sandglass also performs and teaches in its own 60-seat renovated barn theater in Putney, Vermont. Fun for the whole family! STORYTELLING, MUSIC-MAKING, PUPPET CRAFT, MASK-MAKING, AND MORE! La MaMa Kids is a series of creative workshops and performances for the young and the young at heart. Master artists from LaMaMa teach theatre crafts in workshops that encourage imaginative play and hands-on learning. Children and adults learn the basics of storytelling, dance, mask and puppet-making, and more! Held monthly, La MaMa Kids is fun for the whole family!
