In this workshop, kids will engage in dynamic exercises that explore their own artistic potential. Through the creation of original dance and characters, we will honor the memory of the late artist, Elizabeth Swados. Those who experienced her work know the profound impact that it has had on the American theatre. Her memory and inspiring artistry lives on in the people who have had the honor of collaborating with her.
Rachael, Hannah, and Eric worked with Liz on several projects and have gone on to create their own productions and youth workshops locally and globally.

La MaMa Kids Online presents kids performances and hands-on workshops online, timed especially for “after school” viewing! La MaMa will continue to use emerging technologies to create a new venue for artistic expression that questions how art can function and how we as a society can survive challenging periods of history.
