A benefit to help La MaMa turn up the heat!

Shenanigans presents
"SHENANIGANS ON FIRE"
with special guests The Gay Agenda

La MaMa is turning up the heat and we can't do it without the help of our closest friends and allies. We are blasting off our $100,000 campaign to bring heat to our new Archive and exhibition space in the Annex building. The Heat is On! is a series of variety shows celebrating La MaMa artists and benefiting our HVAC (heating ventilating and air-conditioning system.) Each month, La MaMa will produce a variety show with music, singing, dance, sketch comedy, puppets, drag queens and more. This party like atmosphere will also include raffles and refreshments. Everyone is donating their time and talent to help La MaMa keep the Heat on!

To make a reservation please email Matt Nasser at matt@lamama.org or call 212-254-6468

Shenanigans will be presenting SHENANIGANS ON FIRE!  A sketch comedy extravaganza with special guests THE GAY AGENDA.

Shenanigans Comedy Collective, the rebellious middle child of theatre company CollaborationTown, was created by members of the company who have a knack for making people laugh and like to indulge that knack as often as possible.  Currently, Shenanigans is a collective of 9 comedic writers/performers and performs shows downtown every few months.   As of late, members of Shenanigans have been hard at work (or should we say PLAY?!) filling their trophy case with members bringing home top honors in such reality competitions as Dancing with the Starz! (Julia Henderson), Celebrity Fit Club (TJ Witham – he lost 300 lbs!), I'm a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here! (Jordan Seavey), Survivor: South Ossetia (Geoffrey Decas) and Amazing Race! (Noah Starr and Phillip Taratula)

"THE GAY AGENDA is your semi-favorite-two-man-musical-theatre-punk-band.
Micah and Nicholas, two harmonizing homos with their ears perked for the latest sounds in the cutting edge world of musical theatre, concoct mangled love ballads and disjointed show stoppers to delight the twisted, sentimental show queen in all of us."
