World Premiere
Part of Spill Festival

Revue is a choreographed, repeated routine performed naked, for 24 hours set to Cab Calloway’s popular cotton club track, ‘Pickin’ Up The Cabbage’.
Revue will be filtered digitally through institutions in cities throughout the world where Josephine Baker performed, and then back into the public domain. The performance is intent on reimagining the representation of black bodies, with an emphasis on protection, care, positioning and preservation.

Watch the Live Stream:

The work, performed live in Ipswich, is also being streamed at these locations worldwide:

London: Live Art Development Agency | Brussels:  Cifas
Chicago: The School of Art Institute Chicago | Austin: Fusebox Festival
