Honoring Ellen Robbins for her creative achievements in teaching dance. With tributes to The Harkness Foundation for Dance, Mertz Gilmore Foundation and The Jerome Robbins Foundation for supporting La MaMa Moves! since its inception. Proceeds from the benefit will greatly assist La MaMa in producing the 10th La MaMa Moves! dance festival this May 21 – June 21, 2015. The festival has showcased the work of approximately 400 emerging and seasoned choreographers since its beginnings.
