Please join us on June 17, 3–6PM to celebrate the rich extensive history of 74A East 4th Street since Ellen Stewart moved La MaMa to its own venue back in April 2, 1969 (7 years after she founded La MaMa) till today. We will have many live performances in the entire renovated building and in front of the building that represent La MaMa’s diversity throughout the years. The street will be closed off for a block party so we have to take advantage and party like 1969. Pictures and footage never seen before will be presented.
