Part love story, part sci-fi lullaby, WEST is a song-cycle about traveling and change. It’s a memory of the future unfolding in a series of stark tonal landscapes hued by country western and folk music.
Dane Terry is an American composer, performer and writer. He is the most recent recipient of the Ethyl Eichelberger award from PS122 and is also a part of that organization’s RAMP residency in spring 2016. After premiering in April 2015 at La MaMa, his show Bird In The House went on to be presented at the Public Theater as part of the Under The Radar festival’s INCOMING! series.
