ABOUT
January 31st is not only Cecilia’s birthday but will henceforth officially be designated by the City of New York as Cecilia Gentili Day to recognize her significant contributions as an author, performer, policymaker, and activist who fought for the rights of undocumented immigrants, sex workers, and LGBTQIA+ individuals.
To honor her life and legacy, Cecilia’s community is banding together for an afternoon of celebration! DJ’s, performances, speeches and more! Line-up TBA. Open to all!
