End of Season Campaign

We just celebrated the 20th Anniversary of the La MaMa Moves! Dance Festival. This annual festival presents daring work and performance styles that challenge perceptions of dance and provide artists with the space to explore new forms of expression. 

During our 63rd Season, La MaMa’s artists went beyond the physical walls of our spaces to connect with artists and audiences locally and globally. La MaMa Moves artists made dances in solidarity with dancers in our season and around the world. This explosive diversity of backgrounds, forms, and traditions was powerful.

As we engage with new models of connectivity and come into contact with people and places we couldn’t reach before, we hope to learn to think beyond ourselves and seed a global arts movement.
