Experiments Reading: SHE SPITS (AGAIN AGAIN)
A lamp indicts her lovers, insisting she has been forced to GNAW ON THE TEPID MEAL OF JUST ENOUGH. A shadow watches and tries to remember THE SOUND A BODY MAKES WHEN IT MOVES. And a hiccupping man wants to watch the news, asking WHAT IS THE FOLLY IN WANTING A QUIET LIFE?
Together they compose a malfunctioning ritual of queer domesticity in a bedroom continuously filled with fraying cords and the interruptions of a prescient radio.
SHE SPITS (AGAIN AGAIN) is a surreal exploration of a fractured family caught in the violent machinery of dysfunction, enmeshment, and erasure. The lamp spits sparks at a man with tequila-soaked skin and masterful avoidance as a shadow attempts to understand that being a witness is not the same as being present.
Each grieves the failures of love as they can.
Even the room mourns.
Even the radio.
Even the light.
Again.
Again.
