an extraordinary story of never giving up from the perspective of an unlikely wild flower.
A charming children’s show about a lonely little dandelion who dreams of exploring the world but is stuck in the same place, rooted to the ground. Each day, the dandelion watches birds fly overhead, butterflies flutter by, and the wind carry leaves on exciting adventures, wishing it could travel too. Although its dream seems impossible, the dandelion never loses hope.
As the seasons change, a curious and kind-hearted child discovers the dandelion and helps its fluffy seeds take flight on the breeze. Together, they embark on a magical journey filled with wonder, friendship, and discovery. Through gentle storytelling and colorful adventures, The Dandelion’s Wish teaches young viewers the importance of perseverance, kindness, and believing that even the biggest dreams can come true.

Fatima Sambo Schoenfelder
bio
Fatima Sambo Schoenfelder was a first-generation Ghanaian-American multi-disciplinary artist. For nearly a decade, she has been a puppeteer at the Swedish Cottage Marionette Theatre, one of New York City’s premier puppet performance stages. She is the author and illustrator of The Dandelion’s Wish, her first children’s picture book and creator of the companion table top puppet show about the wildflower achieving dreams through patience and luck. Fatima graduated from LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and the Performing Arts with a degree in Fine Arts, and Hunter College with a BA in Film and Theatre Production.
